About St. Vincent de Paul
A new conference of The Society of St Vincent de Paul is here at Prince of Peace! SVDP’s mission is to assist our Plano brothers and sisters in need with food, rent, and utilities. St. Vincent de Paul Ministry is the truest form of our commandment, “Love thy neighbor.” All of our finances come from donations from members of our parish.
Every day, in 9 counties across North Texas, trained SVDP volunteers provide financial, material, and emotional support to those in crisis. The way we see it, we’re simply offering our neighbors a helping hand.

You may also leave a message on our helpline at 469 666-0215 with the above mentioned information in addition to your email address.
PLEASE NOTE:
We only provide assistance for our neighbors located within our parish boundaries which are from Midway Road to Coit Road (from East to West) and State Road 121 to Frankford Road (from North to South). If you are not within our boundaries, please visit the SVDP of North Texas website at SVdP Can Help | St. Vincent de Paul of North Texas to determine the closest SVDP Conference who will be able to help you.

Join us for our regular meetings. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday in St. James Hall from 7PM-9:00PM
DONATE
Through your generous contributions, we are able to provide support to families within our parish boundaries who are experiencing difficulties within our social structures. The funds are used to rescue families who find themselves in an unexpected crisis situation and provide temporary financial assistance, education, and support to help them become self-sufficient.
$100 will help provide a struggling family with basic household necessities.’
$250 will help pay for a family’s utilities at a point when it might be turned off.
$500 can help a family make a COBRA payment for one month so they don’t lose their health insurance.
$1,000 can help a family facing eviction with rent or mortgage payment.
