Meet Darnell Allen St. Romain! He's a passionate musician, author, and scholar, and you can find him sharing his love of music as the Director of Music at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, Texas. There, he leads the beautiful Liturgical Choir, the energetic POP Star Choir (our awesome children's choir!), and accompanies the weekend Masses.

When he's not making music, Darnell delves into fascinating research, exploring how the wisdom of Negro Spirituals can help us bridge racial divides, and celebrating the rich tradition of Black Catholic congregational song.

His musical journey has taken him far, with degrees from Louisiana State University and Southern Methodist University, including a Doctorate in Pastoral Music!

Most importantly, Darnell is a devoted husband to Hannah and a proud dad to Zadie and Chloe. He truly believes in the power of music to connect us all.
