My journey to Prince of Peace came by way of Indiana, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and finally to Texas. I was raised Lutheran but entered into the Catechumenate program after marrying my husband who was Catholic. I was blessed to come into full communion with the Church at the Easter Vigil in 1985. Once I joined the Church, I became an active volunteer in every parish where I was a member, participating in the choir and as a catechist in faith formation. I found the role of catechist to be incredibly meaningful, as it allowed me to walk with my daughters while they were growing in the Faith.

Serving in the Church became a way of life for me and upon arriving in Texas and finding Prince of Peace, I knew this would be my faith home. I was fortunate to also find a vocation in ministry here. Little did I know that this would lead to me serving the community for the past 18 years. It’s been a tremendous blessing! My faith continues to grow in this vibrant and welcoming community! I serve primarily as the Coordinator of Liturgical Ministries, which consists of coordinating baptisms and assisting families who have had a recent death in planning funerals and receptions. I look forward to serving you and your family.
