Bernadette Bergeron, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CET
My name is Renee “Bernadette” Bergeron and I’m so blessed by the cradle of Catholicism that my parents facilitated. My mother and father were beautiful souls from New Orleans, LA and they epitomized humility, kindness, and service to others.
They moved our family to San Diego, CA where I grew up. Ours was a magical home filled with love and laughter; my parents were everyone’s parents! So i thank them for instilling such a great love for all of God’s children - all ages, all sizes, all flavors!
And as for me…I’m just a girl and a single mom to my daughter, Hope, the best thing that ever happened to me. We called Mary Immaculate home for many years, under the great care of great shepherd, Fr. Michael. Delightfully, I also recall telling Fr. Michael that I am “the gum stuck to the bottom of his shoe”…honored to have followed him here to POP!
During the week, I’m just a girl who works as Information Security (IS) Cybersecurity professional. I hold degree in Project Mgmt , also a few IS certifications.
During the evening and weekends, I still love laughing with my daughter who is now 24. I love running with my granddog, Duke, and I positively love watching football, attending musicals, and supporting all local performing arts.
But above all, I love when God gives me quiet opportunities to quietly serve.
