Are you Catholic INTERESTED IN COMPLETING YOUR SACRAMENTS, or
Baptized in a different denomination looking to BECOME CATHOLIC?

The sacraments of Christian initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist—lay the foundations of every Christian life. (CCC 1212)  The Church is called to enable the People of God, through proper catechesis, to become effective witnesses of the Gospel.

Whether you were:

  • Baptized Catholic and have not yet celebrated Confirmation and First Communion, or
  • Validly baptized in another Christian tradition (with water and in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and are seeking full communion with the Catholic Church,

we offer a personalized journey of formation designed just for you.

Many people typically think of or have some experience with O.C.I.A. (formerly R.C.I.A.) as the process for them to complete sacraments and become Catholic. While the formal OCIA is actually reserved for those who are unbaptized, we retain the same spirit of accompaniment, discernment, and formation with you. Because you have already received Christian Baptism, your journey includes fewer liturgical rites while still providing meaningful opportunities to grow in faith and deepen your relationship with Christ.

Like our OCIA process, your formation is individualized—not simply a set of classes (although we may recommend and invite you to consider one or more!). We meet with you personally to learn your story, answer your questions, discern your readiness, and help you engage in parish life in ways that fit your schedule and circumstances. Our goal is to help you experience the Catholic faith as it is lived, not merely studied.

We offer separate monthly Inquiry Gatherings specifically for baptized adults, providing an open space to explore the process before making any commitments.

Preparation for the sacraments takes at least 10 weeks and reception of them reflects the timing with our liturgical calendar, but is an individual period of formation per each person's background. Regardless of the individual path encouragement and whenever you begin after inquiry, we do highly recommend committing to our 7-week "Accelerated Program" running Thursday nights April 1st - May 13th, 2027 (with a required day retreat on Saturday, May 1st). This ensures sufficient and adequate timing and preparation of what we profess to believe and answering any questions that may still be on your mind!

Typical timeframe of reception of Sacraments as a group, including making the Profession of Faith, Confirmation, and First Communion, will be either Easter Vigil Saturday, March 27th (evening Mass), or Pentecost Sunday, May 16th, 2027 at the 10 am Mass. Please note that some details, including marriage situations, need to be discussed and completed, prior to official Sacramental prep dates being scheduled.
