The playground transformed into a colorful battleground as balloons flew in every direction, splashing water and creating waves of pure exhilaration. It was a sight to behold!

Yesterday our Children’s Ministry gathered for a Safe Environment session with Sgt. Clark, who serves as one of our security officers at Prince of Peace during Mass and other events. Sgt. Clark has protected the Plano community for over 37 years.

Last night, adoration was powerful for me. I felt the presence of all the saints, the angels, and our Lady surrounding me as I looked upon the face of Jesus. Last night, I felt the burden lift off me as I was set free through Jesus in confession. This weekend transformed my life.

Young Church got a surprise visit from Father Michael today! Flanked by two body guards and a Vatican flag cape, Father Michael shared a witness talk about the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist followed by a holy half-hour of adoration.

This Wednesday, our middle school Young Church members met up at Trinity Forest after daily Mass for a fun social! These students climbed trees and zip-lined through a forest - all while learning more about the Jesus who loves them.

Big trips like these are often life-changing for young students because they offer space and an environment for them to encounter Jesus Christ in a personal and powerful way. Passing on the teachings of Jesus to the next generation is some of the most important work we do here at Prince of Peace.
