I am grateful to be the newly installed parochial vicar here at Prince of Peace, helping Father Tom in his guidance of the parish and sacramental ministry. I grew up in Austin in a small Catholic parish that was founded the year I was born. I attended Catholic schools in Austin from 1st grade through high school. In my parish and school, I sang in the choir and served as an altar server and sacristan.
In 2005, I moved to Richardson to attend the University of Texas at Dallas, where I got an engineering degree. During my college years, I served at All Saints in youth ministry, where I grew closer to Christ through prayer and service. In Eucharistic adoration one evening, the Spirit of God called me into the seminary, where I discovered my vocation to the priesthood and a zeal for teaching the Word of God and the richness of our Christian faith.
I was ordained in Dallas by Bishop Burns in May 2018. I am blessed to serve the Prince of Peace community as my first parish as a priest. In my time serving this community, I have seen the amazing ways in which God is active in our parish, transforming hearts and minds through the presence of the Holy Spirit. I pray that we may all be instruments of God's loving Providence, sharing his blessings with the world.
