ABOUT US

BECOMING CATHOLIC

The sacraments of Christian initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist—lay the foundations of every Christian life. (CCC 1212)  The Church is called to enable the People of God, through proper catechesis, to become effective witnesses of the Gospel.

RETURNING HOME

Catholics Returning Home is a series of 5 sessions designed to welcome those Catholics who have been away from the Church for some time. This program will update, inform, answer questions, and lovingly welcome back those who are seeking to return to their Catholic faith.

KIDCAT (children's process)

The Catholic Church welcomes children into the Faith through the same process it uses to welcome adults, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). At Prince of Peace, we call it KidCat.

BECOMING CATHOLIC (adult process)

The Catholic Church warmly welcomes new members and will provide appropriate spiritual formation to meet each person's needs. The ultimate goal of our process is to integrate the newly initiated into our vibrant faith community and help each person live a life of love and service to others.

ADULT SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

Prince of Peace Catholic Community is offering a special opportunity for members of our community who may have been baptized Catholic and not been confirmed or baptized inanother faith tradition, have been regularly attending Mass, and who may be interested in becoming Catholic, or for Catholics who just want to know more about their faith.
