We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that
plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching,
class discussions, and interactive small group activities, FPU presents
biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve
dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt,
manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more.

Faith is a necessary ingredient to true life in Christ and comes, the Bible says, when we read God's word. Dive into God's word with us and you will be transformed.
This 16 week bible study series begins September 5 - January 16 and is facilitated by Martha Littenberg.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Typically run over eleven weeks, each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s just an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.
For the past 22 years Catholic youth have given up summer vacation time to take part in Mission Possible, an annual multi-parish service and justice event. Mission Possible invites our young people to choose discipleship and become active members of their faith community.

What we are doing:
This Summer the graduating Seniors from the POP Youth program are going on the inaugural Camino de Santiago, one of the oldest and most traveled Christian Pilgrimages in the world.
Why we are going:
The goal of the Youth Ministry is to form the youth at Prince of Peace into Disciples of Christ by providing the most comprehensive and engaging ministry possible. We believe that including this Pilgrimage to Spain for all graduating seniors is a perfect way to conclude their time at POP, and commission them as disciples as they transition into adulthood into college and the world.
Our pilgrimage to Spain this summer in many ways embodies our vision of creating Disciples, as we are going back to one of the sources of our faith. The Camino de Santiago is the believed path that St. James took to spread the Gospel to Spain after Pentecost, and has been a Christian Pilgrimage site since the middle ages. What better way to prepare our teens for a lifetime of evangelization than retracing the steps of one of the 12 apostles?
I would ask you to join the youth ministry in three ways as we prepare our journey. We are hiking the last 111 kilometers of the Camino, and we are need your prayers. Second, send us your prayer intentions. It is customary for people to bring specific prayer intentions with them on the Camino, and to offer up prayers along the way. Every day we are going to say a rosary for this community and we are going to bring your intentions with us to Spain. Third, I would like to consider donating for this trip. Our goal is $20,000 and every bit helps.
Mission 24 is an opportunity for us to gather night and day to proclaim the beauty, glory, and power of our Lord Jesus Christ! This event cultivates an authentic and renewed conversion to the Lord through 24 hours of praise in front of the Blessed Sacrament. It is truly where ‘Heaven meets Earth’. Join musicians Dave Moore, Tori Harris, Kara Klein, The Crossroads Pursuit, and many more!
