Forgiveness of the Lord (Penance) is available every Saturday from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. Either face-to-face or anonymous (behind the screen) confessions are available. Please contact our office for more information.
Communal penance services are celebrated during Advent, Lent and in September.
1st Reconciliation
Preparation for the sacrament of Reconciliation begins with active participation in a formal religious education program. The child must be baptized and enrolled for the second year in our "Faith First" program, FIRE, or the Prince of Peace Catholic School. Our sacramental preparation program uses a text published by Sadlier, "Reconciliation." The children are prepared within a formative faith community to celebrate the sacraments with reverence and understanding. The classes are on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 pm or Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm. The sacrament of 1st Reconciliation is celebrated in December.
