ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

A Disciple is one who grows in Christ and in so doing models and teaches Christians the precepts of the Bible, prayer, doctrine, relationship, Christian living, service, and worship.

It’s easy to forget that an integral part of our faith and our relationship with Jesus Christ is communion with others, especially in service. Your participation is not only welcome at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, it is vital to our mission.

Every single person sitting in our assembly has a role here and we invite you to share yourself with your church.  Living as a disciple with grace, gratitude and generosity.

Whether you are interested in teaching, knitting, outreach to the poor, Mission Honduras, lecturing, bible studies, baking, event -coordinating, leadership, writing, craft, filing, childcare, counseling, collecting cans, scouting, praying, singing, dancing, or just about anything else you can think of or wish to contribute, there is a place and need for you and your special skills at Prince of Peace.

Jesus told his Disciples “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:18-19
