PROFESS - THE GREAT DEBATE SERIES - NECESSARY VIOLENCE? ARE FIREARMS A RIGHT OR MORAL HAZARD?

Joshua Clemmons, is the former Director of Young Adult Ministry at All Saints Catholic Church and currently the Director of Faith Formation at St. Rita’s in Dallas. Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Joshua studied Philosophy and Psychology at Texas Tech University and received his M.A. in Theology from the University of Dallas. Prior to working in campus ministry, Joshua was the Director of Mission and Social Justice for the Diocese of Dallas, the Diocesan Director for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, Catholic Relief Services, the Propagation of the Faith, and parish outreach and Catholic Identity for Catholic Charities of Dallas. He lives in Dallas with his wife, Sarah, and two boys, Zachary and David.

Paul Kolker was born and raised in Coppell, TX, a (then) small town where he constantly found himself involved in 3 things: his faith, his thoughts, and attempting to be funny. Having awakened to the beauty of his faith in high school, Paul took every opportunity to attend and serve on various retreats, continuing into his college career at Texas A&M. He also pursued his love of comedy and the stage all along the way, often weaving the two together in the form of public speaking. Realizing that life is short and not wanting to delay what he thought was God's call, Paul entered seminary and spent 3 and a half years discerning the possibility of priesthood. After living and praying in places like St. Paul, MN and Rome, Italy, Paul finally discerned that God had other plans for him. He now works in the world of land planning with the continued pursuit of his passion for comedy at Four Day Weekend in Fort Worth and the Dallas Comedy House in...you guessed it...Dallas.
